We are delighted to announce that we have received €143,000 from the Sports Capital Grant. Exciting times ahead as we will develop our GAA grounds with a flood lit all weather training Area. A sincere thanks to all - we look forward as we begin this exciting and promising project.

ASTRO CAMP

Glenroe Bord na nOg are running an Astro Hurling Academy for 6 weeks every Saturday, it commenced 19th February and it was a rousing success! This includes small sided matches, fun activities, treats and surprises and also a guest coach every week! This is being run in Mitchelsto­wn Leisure Centre and will be a lot of fun for the kids and help them learn some new skills! Please support if you can.

ANNUAL AGM

Glenroe AGM took place on 18th February in Glenroe Clubhouse, there were a range of topics discussed on the night with a successful year on and off the field for the club.

Thanks for everyone who attended and we look forward to a successful year on and off the field.

CONGRATULA­TIONS

Congratuti­ons to our hurler Darren McCarthy who was part of the MTU Kerry team that won the Ryan Cup on the 20th February in IT Carlow. They defeated Ulster university on a score line 1-20 to 2-13. We are very proud of Darren and his achievemen­t.
