Football leagues begin this weekend
Both the Avondhu and County football championships will commence this coming weekend.
On Friday, 4th March Fermoy meet Killavullen in the opening round of the Avondhu Division 1 football league in Fermoy at 19.30.
On Saturday, 5th March Fermoy will play Doneraile in the Avondhu Division 3 Round 1 in Fermoy at 19.30.
On Sunday, 6th March we play our opening round of the County Division 1 league against St. Michaels in Mahon at 12.00. The last time the two teams met was in the 2018 Premier Intermediate final where Fermoy were victorious. We are all looking forward to a good competitive game. Please support the teams as best you can and hopefully this will be the start of a successful season.
FERMOY GOES COUNTRY
Fermoy Goes Country returns in 2022 for the first time since our hugely successful Fermoy goes Country in 2019. There is a tremendous line up booked for the day and it is a credit to the committee for the success in this. The line-up consists of Mike Denver and his band, Cliona Hagan and her band, Robert Mizzell and Ciaran Rosney. These are all household names on the Irish country scene and a great day is guaranteed. It takes place in Fitzgerald Park on 14th August 2022 from 13.00 to 19.00.
