Noreen and Maria winners
On Sunday morning we had a Scotch fourball competition. The bad overnight weather cleared leaving us with a dry sunny morning, ideal conditions for a game of pitch and putt. We had a good turnout of players.
It proved to be a good competition for the ladies. Noreen Ryan and Maria Roche were 1st nett winners on a score of 39 1/2. Barry Doyle and Nan Downey were 1st gross winners on a score of 52. John C McCarthy and Breda O’Keeffe were 2nd nett winners on a score of 40. Tuesday afternoon’s fourball winners were Patsy O’Mahony and Tom Kenneally (on the back count) with a score of 42 nett. Michael O’Keeffe and Liam Roche were gross winners (on the back count) on a score of 53.
Tuesday and Thursday afternoon’s competition’s continue weather permitting, tee off 2.30pm sharp. Sunday morning competition tee off 10.15am sharp.
The club wish to express sympathy to the Greehy, Gowen, O’Brien, Sheehan, O’Driscoll and Riordan families on their recent bereavements.
