Scór na nÓg entry
Thanks to all those who have put their names forward and entered the 2022 Scór competition. The club is delighted to announce that this year we will have representation in Irish dancing, singing along with an entry into the table quiz competition.
TRAINING
Training resumed last Tuesday night at the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre following cancellation of recent sessions due to inclement weather conditions. Our U15 and U17 teams were the benefices of a strength and training session from Limerick GAA coach James Ryan. In recent years greater emphasis is been placed on strength and conditioning within the club as studies have shown that basic S and C exercises can positively influence performance and prevent injuries. The club would like to thank James Ryan for his time and support in helping to introduce and roll out this S and C training program at the club.
Galtee Gaels Club na nÓg training continues at the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre every Tuesday night at 6.30pm for the U7s, U9S, U11s and U13s. and at 7.30pm for the U15S and U17s. Please remember a €2 charge per player applies to cover rental costs.

OLD CLOTHES COLLECTION FUNDRAISER
Over the years the ‘ Cash for Clothes’ collection fundraiser has been a valuable source of revenue for Galtee Gaels Club na nÓg. This year we will be holding two collection days at the Club House in Kilbehenny, Saturday, March 12 and Saturday, March 26 between the times of 12 and 1pm. Please support this important fundraiser and take the chance to de-clutter and clear any unwanted clothing that might be clogging up your wardrobes over lockdown.
