Cheltenham Challenge

-

Lismore GAA Club will be holding a Cheltenham challenge fundraiser in conjunction with this year’s famous horse racing festival. How does it work? Select one horse in each of the first four races each day. Points awarded if your horse finishes 1st = 10pts, 2nd = 6 pts, 3rd = 3pts, 4th = 1pt.

All entries to be submitted by 12pm each day to 087-2549758 via WhatsApp. Entries after this will not be included.

When submitting entries, send in the race number followed by the horse number, e.g. Race 1, Horse 5. If your horse is a non-runner or no entry is received, your selection moves to the SP favourite. If there are joint SP favourites, your selection moves to joint favourite with the lowest number. The winner will be the highest entry with the most accumulated points after the 16 races. In the event of a tie, the entry with the most 1st place finishes will be the winner. If there is still a tie after this, it will move to the entry with the most 2nd places. An updated table will be shared each evening on our social media sites. 1st prize = €600, 2nd prize = €300, 3rd prize = €100. €50 to the highest points scorer each day. The entry fee is €20 via KlubFunder/Clubs/Lismore.
