Ballindangan women raise €1,145 for Ukraine

Ballindangan Monday Morning Club provides an important focal point for those who like good company and social interaction. With International Women's Day in mind, members gathered in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown on Monday morning last for a very enjoyable breakfast event, which also had the Ukraine refugee crisis in mind.

Having tucked into a hearty breakfast, those in attendance gave very generously to the tune of €1,145. This money will assist the people of Ukraine via The Red Cross. Those in attendance said they were delighted to contribute to what is fast becoming an international crisis.

SUCCESSFUL GROUP

Ballindangan Monday Morning Club meet regularly and has a strong membership. While social events are always on the agenda, they have a track record in raising funds for deserving causes - Ukraine definitely falls into this category.
