FERMOY FLOOD REPORT DUE BY END OF Q1
The Office of Public Works has said that there is ‘no further update’ on the report regarding the Fermoy flood Incident at Brian Boru Square last year,
writes Katie Glavin.
The report is being prepared by Cork County Council in cooperation with the OPW.
Cork County Council confirmed to The Avondhu in February that the draft Flood incident Report was in the final stages of being completed and would be reviewed by the OPW in the next few weeks.
This week the council confirmed that the report is expected to be completed by the end of Q1 this year.
Four businesses and one home now continue to wait for an official report on the incident which occurred over a year ago and remain unable to complete insurance proceedings until such a report is issued.
