Corrin Mart Report

-

As the weeks of the year fly by, we are very busy at Corrin Mart at this time of year. There were large numbers of cattle for sale this week and the fine balance between numbers, weather and conditions can sometimes put pressure on trade if the weather doesn’t ’play ball’ at this time of year.

But trade was very strong for cattle this week at Corrin, perhaps plainer types were marginally back but overall the super trade over the last number of weeks was enjoyed again this week.

CALVES

The calf sales in Corrin Mart now take place on Wednesdays. There are very large numbers each Wednesday, trade is strong for good strong calves but Friesian bulls for shipping are a tougher trade due to weather conditions.
