FARM SAFE SCHOOL

We are currently engaged in the process of becoming an Agri Aware Farm Safe School. The Farm Safe Schools Programme is on a mission to Engage, Educate and Empower children to be our farm safety ambassadors.

Three modules are included in the programme: (i) Farm, Farmer, Farmyard, (ii) Animal Safety and Care, (iii) Tractor and Machinery Safety. The children get to see age appropriate live webinars with other schools around the country along with doing projects based on the three modules. We hope that our pupils will be more aware of safety on farms and the general country side around them while developing an appreciation of the work involved in farm life. Our final submission will be due in early May.
