Mitchelstown host the All Ireland junior Racquetball Championships
It is great to see Racquetball back open and Mitchelstown hosting the All Ireland Junior Championships.
It was a great weekend of Racquetball with juniors travelling from all over the country to compete and a delight to see strong numbers back after what has been a hard two years for the sport.
All members played fantastic and the weekly training is paying off. Each one gave it their all and well done to everyone that competed and helped over the weekend.
They certainly did their club proud.
We took home 5 medals and 3 plates
Boys Singles Under 16: Gold Dara McNamara. Plate Winner: Cian Hogan.
Girls Singles U12: Silver Katelyn Hogan. Plate winner Emily Murphy
Under 14 Silver Megan Coleman. Bronze Shauna Quane and Eliza Murphy. Plate winner Molly Barrett.
Well done to all and thanks to all organisers on a great weekend. Training continues as we get set for upcoming tournaments.
