Defeat for United U13s

-

PRIM-ED U13 LEAGUE

Defeat for United - our U13 team went down to Kilworth in what was a vital game for both clubs but the homeside came out winners.

We had our U7 academy and our U9 academies also in action on Saturday last. Hopefully we will have more on these academies and their games next week.

PRIM-ED U13 LEAGUE Kilworth Celtic 3 Brideview Utd 1

A terrific game between two clubs fighting it out for league honours. Celtic went in front in the 9th minute and three minutes later they added number two. This urged on Utd and King got a cracker in the 29th minute to put Utd back in the game. At the break Celtic led 2-1

Utd tried to get back on level terms but in doing so they left themselves open at the back and Celtic took advantage and grabbed goal number three on a breakaway.

As hard as Utd tried to get back in the game again the homeside stood firm and held out for three valuable points and gives them a big advantage going into the final league game.

United all played: Josh Mangan, Brian Murphy, James Mc Donnell, Oscar Cunningham, Paul Hegarty, Lee Guildea, Tommy Forbes, Barra Alien, Ethan King, Harry Power, Dylan Kerrigan, Andy Cash, Oscar Morrison, Ryan Whelan.

BEST WISHES

We wish Ryan Whelan a speedy recovery. Ryan was sick leading up to this game but he still took part and went on during the game.
