The Parish ‘ripped apart’

-

If you feel like a good laugh? Then 'The Parish' is the show that will do just that for you, and it comes to Kilworth Community Hall on Thursday, March 24.

'The Parish' is a hilarious evening of playacting where Sean Kelleher and Michael Ryan bring to life a range of characters that can be found in every community. The show is promoted by The Village Arts Centre with the help of Cork County Council's Arts Office.

Through a chorus of colourful characters, the story of 'The Parish' tells of a dastardly deed that has ripped the parish apart. But despite this scandal, this delightful comedy highlights and celebrates the power of friendship and community.

HubCap Theatre, based in Cork, was set up in 2018 by Sean and Michael Ryan and is influenced by the old Fit-Up theatre companies that travelled to communities bringing live theatre to the people.

Just some of the comments following the show: "The Parish is absolutely hilarious and makes for a great night out!"

"These two are an amazing combination, a night of fun and laughter. Don't miss it!"

Starts at 8pm - Tickets €15, now booking at Cotter's Bar, Kilworth (025-43615 after 4pm), TheAvondhu offices Fermoy (025-32227) and Mitchelstown (025-24451) or call 0876492514.
