Coláiste students visit cookery cottage

-

Coláiste an Chraoibhín students from Fermoy took a trip to Douglas Cookery Cottage recently for a fun and educational trip.

Two cookery groups, 1D and the LCA1 students, had the opportunity to visit the cookery school last Friday morning. First Year students cooked a three-course meal which consisted of potato cubes, chicken curry and chocolate chip cookies. At the end of all the hard work, the students sat down to eat their creations.

Caeleigh Bonner from First Year said, “I really enjoyed preparing the different dishes and the fun I had while preparing it with friends, this outing will help build on my cookery skills. Thanks to Mrs Lynch for organising our trip and thanks also to all the staff members in Douglas cooking school for such a lovely day”.
