Golf galore!

-

This coming weekend 17th/18th/19th/20th sees a significant increased activity at Mitchelstown Golf Course. At the time of writing, the weather forecast for the weekend is good but as we know this cannot always be relied upon, and frost is still an ever-present threat to the early morning golfer!

Despite the heavy rain midweek prior to last weekend, conditions underfoot did not disrupt play and the third round of the Corbett Court Spring League and the weekly 15-hole competition went ahead as planned. There will be no Spring League this weekend, but there is a busy schedule planned otherwise. The fourth round of the Spring League will be played on the weekend of the 25th/26th/27th March.

Current standings in the Spring League are as follows: Team A – 298; Team G – 288; Team K – 283; Team E – 281; Team L – 277; Team M – 277. Fuller details are posted on the notice board in the clubhouse.
