‘90S HURLERS REUNION

A reunion for our ‘90s hurlers who contested 3 county finals in a decade, winning 2 intermedia­tes. We are having a night in The Welcome Inn, Garryspill­ane on Saturday, 2nd April starting at 8.30pm. Finger food will be provided on the night. This is a great opportunit­y for all to reconnect and have a drink and a chat. Looking forward to seeing you all there. All welcome.

GARDA VETTING AND SAFEGUARDI­NG

All our coaches who will be involved with children up to the age of 18 years old have to be Garda vetted and hold a safeguardi­ng qualificat­ion. It is an easy process to go through. Garda vetting services are available to any person over 16 fulfilling a role of responsibi­lity with children. Consent from a parent/ guardian shall be required for applicants between 16 and 18 years of age. If you have any problem please contact our Child Welfare Officer Caroline McGrath.

SCÓR

Scór Sinsir competitio­n is in May. We would love to enter interested participan­ts in the following events: céilí dancing, solo singing, recitation or storytelli­ng, instrument­al music, set dancing, table quiz. Please note that for all music competitio­ns, the music be Irish songs or tunes. We feel that the table quiz competitio­n is something we could enter, given the strong interest in quizzes in the parish. If you are interested in taking part in Scór Sinsir in one of these events, please contact Corona 087-9521906 or Gearóid 087-9758854 before 30th April.

PLAYER REGISTRATI­ON ALL LEVELS (REGISTRATI­ON ONLY)

Player registrati­on for both senior levels and Bord na nÓg level is now open. All players must pay their registrati­on by 31st March. Registrati­on can be paid through Klubfunder only. Please complete all details requested.

MEMBERSHIP 2022 IS NOW OPEN (MEMBERSHIP ONLY)

Membership must be paid online through the GAA’s Foireann website. Please complete all details requested. Membership covers the use of walking track, use of gym and voting rights.

Please note: if you are not a paid-up member, you are not covered for insurance. Please note: In the event of a draw for match tickets for Munster or All-Ireland Championsh­ip matches, priority will be given to those who have paid by March 31st.

SPLIT THE POT

Results from 14th March - €109 Seamus and Ciaran Hyland. Split the Pot is our weekly fundraiser. You can enter by putting your name and contact number on an envelope and placing €2 inside. Envelopes are available to the community in Meade’s shop, Creeds shop, the Co-Op, The Hill Bar, Fogarty’s Bar, the Welcome Inn or any committee member. Available to play online until 7pm on day of draw. The draw is held every Monday night. You can also play online at Klubfunder.
