Championship final on St Patrick’s Day

-

Best of luck to Ballycastle Gaels footballers who face St Dominics in the U21 Championship final on St Patrick’s Day, with an 12 noon throw-in in Kildorrery. The lads have put in a great effort in preparation for this game and we hope that lady luck shines on them in this game on Thursday. A full report will appear here next week.

FIXTURES

Our division 2 Hurling League encounter against Buttevant fell victim to the weather over the weekend, so like many other games in the region, is postponed for now. This will be difficult to squeeze in, but hopefully as we move in to the late spring and early summer, a gap will be found.

Our next fixture is a football league encounter against Liscarroll Churchtown Gaels in Castletownroche on Saturday next, March 19th, with a throw-in time of 4.30pm. Hopefully the lads can build on their opening weekend victory and secure some further vital league points.
