Club lotto continues to rise

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €17,000 held on Monday, March 14th, the numbers drawn were: 6, 11, 17 and 24. The lucky dip winners of €50 were Sean and Sheila Hegarty c/o Centra. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were John Heggtveit c/o Yearly, Mary Morrissey c/o Centra, Joanne Hally c/o Patsy O’Mahony.

Next week’s jackpot on Monday, March 21st is €17,200. Tickets cost just €2 each or 3 lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for playing and the best of luck!

CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS

The North Cork championship draws for 2022 were made recently. The Synergy Fermoy Junior A Football championship contains 11 teams, with three groups. We begin the defence of our title in group 3 along with Liscarroll-Churchtown Gaels and Charleville. Both teams were also in our group last year and we emerged victors in both games. We also accounted for Charleville at the semi-final stage. The round robin games are due to be played on the weekends of July 3rd, July 10th, and July 17th. In the McAuliffe Hurley’s JBHC (2) we were drawn in the semi-final v Ballyhea. The other side of the draw sees Mallow v Newtown with the winners facing Kildorrery in the second semi-final.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP NOW DUE

Club membership for 2022 is now due on the GAA membership site ‘ Foireann’ and we would ask that you pay your membership as soon as possible. The playing season is upon us, and all players and management teams must be paid up members in advance of returning to training and playing games.
