STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS DOING MITCHELSTOWN PROUD
Two companies from schools in Mitchelstown were victorious in this year’s Student Enterprise Programme, with the CBS boys capturing the ‘Innovation’ award for their portable soccer-based boardgame ‘Flickboard, and the girls from Presentation scoring the ‘Marketing’ award for work on their weighted harness for stressed dogs, the ‘Scaredypup’. Trophies for the Student Enterprise Programme were awarded by the Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West. Representing CBS were (L-r) Billy Finn, Pádraig Dennehy, Anastasios Kabundi, Cathal Walsh, Oisín Hanratty and Brody O’Donnell with their principal, Mary Hannon. Missing are Jack O’Grady, Ben Frazer and Alan Luddy. The Presentation team are (l-r) Alahanna Morrissey, Amy O’Brien, Niamh Finn, Louise McCarthy and Melissa Gubbins, with their teacher Ms Lynch.
