Well done to the U16 girls and U16 Boys teams who both brought home Munster titles last week and have qualified for the All-Ireland finals at the end of March.

AGRICULTUR­AL SCIENCE TRIP

As part of their Agricultur­al Science course 5th years travelled to Macroom where they visited a Buffalo farm and got to see how the farm operates and also tasted some delicious buffalo burgers and other products as part of the artisan range on the farm.

STAND WITH UKRAINE

Well done to all in BCS community who organised a collection last week to aid those affected by the ongoing struggles in Ukraine and raised an incredible €830 for The Red Cross.

GREEN SCHOOLS UPDATE

Our Green Schools Committee have organised a series of events this week as part of The Green Schools Action

Week which takes place from 14th-16th March. Our current theme is Water.

On Monday our Transition Years did a 6Km walk carrying 6 litres of water, a walk and task that is carried out by many to get access to water daily.

EQUESTRIAN NEWS

Well done to all who competed in Maryville last Tuesday. Two teams got through to the jump off stage finishing 3rd and 7th. Well done to Caithlin Kenneally who was placed third in the 1M individual class.

ALL IRELAND CROSS COUNTRY

Well done to Eimear Griffin (intermedia­te girls) and Charlotte Norman (minor girls) who represente­d BCS in the All-Ireland Cross Country last weekend in Belfast with both girls doing very well and delighted with their runs.
