British Ukraine amnesia

Dear Editor, Wake up UK and learn from your own history. Putin wants to rid Ukraine of western orientated Ukrainians and effect the plantation of Ukraine with Russian orientated settlers, just as Britain did in the 17th century with the plantation of Ulster. He will likely use all available means to do it.

Let’s hope UK, EU and US do not stand idly by and let a humanitarian disaster develop before our very eyes, and that it does not take Ukraine as long to regain its freedom and unity. Regards, Kevin T Finn, Kingston Close, Mitchelstown.
