Carraig na bhFear Children collect for Ukraine
The children and school community of Scoil an Athar Tadhg in Carraig na bhFear can be extremely proud of their efforts to help those suffering as a result of the conflict in Ukraine.
They managed to collect one thousand eight hundred and thirty five euro for the Irish Red Cross. The fundraising was coordinated by Ms. Irene Farrell with the support of Mr. Hanafin and her fellow staff. The schools recently appointed principal Mr. Cormac Duggan complimented the school community for their generosity. Cormac had a special word of thanks for the O’Leary children, Evan, Abbie and Ben who made wrist bands for all the children and staff of the school. No doubt their kind gesture greatly contributed to the collection.
