Resurfacing of Mitchelstown main street
At a recent council meeting, Cllr Kay Dawson asked that the surface on Mitchelstown’s main street be looked at, pointing out that, with numerous local industries in the town, the road is ‘nearly a main route
to link to the west of Ireland’.
Welcoming the recent repairs to Ballaghaderg Bridge, the local councillor repeated her requests that the upgrade of the bridge be considered, stating again that being situated on a busy route, the bridge was no longer quite fit for purpose.
