“Win €10,000 cash” – launch of major fundraiser in Ballylanders

During the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, committee members of the Ballylanders Development Association launched their Monster Draw to win €10,000 cash!!

This is the committee’s biggest fundraiser to date, and the support of the community of Ballylanders and beyond is much needed.

Whether you are local or passing through Ballylanders, most people will have seen the works and development that have been happening in the Ballylanders Village Park and Playground over the past year. This new development was seen and enjoyed by many during the St. Patricks Day Parade and celebrations in the Village Park.

This development, funded by both CLAR and LEADER grants through Limerick City and County Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development, has seen a Wellness / Sensory Garden created, additional playground equipment added, and a Service Building built with toilets, covered picnic area and drinking water fountain.

All of these projects are themed with providing an enjoyable, safe place for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

As with most of these projects, there is a financial gap in the funding received and the overall cost of the project. In this case, the Development Association must raise €70K to bridge this funding gap. A target that is realistic with the help and support of Ballylanders and the wider community.

The committee will be running other events during the year to cover the running costs to keep the Park open, however, reaching the target of €70k will enable the Development Association and the community to enjoy these facilities debt free.

Please support this project! Ballylanders Village Park and Playground is an all-inclusive haven for young and old and we really need the support of everyone.

Tickets cost €100, which can be purchased as a standalone ticket or shared between family, friends or work colleagues ie; 4 x people at €25 each. The shared ticket can be purchased as long as there is only one transaction when purchasing the ticket and a lead contact name on it.

Tickets will also be on sale in local businesses in Ballylanders and through committee members of the Ballylanders Development Association.
