Harbour Rovers take the win

-

Lá an Mathair provided ideal hurling conditions where we took on neighbours Harbour Rovers. We were short of some of our players on the day but we put in a good performance.

Defence played solidly, they were under pressure from a strong forward line but we coped well. The going was hard up front throughout the game against a resolute Glanworth defence. The result didn’t go our way on the day but well done to all of our players.

Team and scorers as follows: Steven Donegan, Paudie Fitzgerald, Eoin McHugh, Barry Sheedy, Jerome Fitzgerald, Seán Lynch, Eoin O’Regan, Jamie Sheedy (0-7), Brian O’Reilly (0-2), Jake Buckley, Darragh Palmer (0-3), Alan Sheedy (0-1), Shaun Cronin, Jimmy Burke, Winston Barry. Subs used: Paudie Morrissey, Brian O’Regan and Anthony Dennehy.

Best wishes to Shaun Cronin who picked up an injury on the day.
