Youths arrested in relation to theft in Tallow

Three youths were arrested recently in connection with a theft that occurred in Tallow. On Thursday, March 22, it is understood that a backpack was stolen from a bus driver by a group of youths.

According to a Garda spokesperson, the theft occurred on Convent Street in Tallow at approximately 4.45pm.

“A sum of cash and some belongings were taken in the course of this incident. Three male juveniles were arrested in relation to this incident and were released pending referral to the Juvenile Liaison Officer,” the spokesperson said.
