Extension for Cappoquin play area sought

Cappoquin Community Development Company have applied to Waterford City and County Council for planning permission to extend the outdoor play area at Cappoquin Community Centre, writes Katie Glavin.

Submitted to the council on March 22, the application has since been deemed ‘invalid’ by the council, due to it being ‘incomplete’.

The Community Centre at Twig Bog, Cappoquin, had proposed to extend the outdoor play area by means of a raised platform to the southwest side elevation of the building. Associated screen fencing was also proposed to be installed as permission for ancillary site works was sought at the location too.
