DAYDREAMER
By Sadbh McCarthy (10)
Instead of sitting in school, I’m outside in a tropical pool.
Instead of learning lots of maths,
I’m playing with tiny cats.
Instead of painting spring flowers,
I’m climbing up lots of towers.
Instead of being outside doing PE,
I’m eating biscuits up a tree.
But then my teacher calls my name,
And I give a little scream.
When I find out
It was all a daydream.
