PARK YOUTHS
The very best of luck to our youth team and management who travel to Waterford City this Saturday to play Villa FC in the quarter-final of the Munster Youth Cup. Little is known about the opposition but they can’t be bad as their U17 contest the FAI Youth Cup semi-final the day after.
Park have good momentum going into this game and although they disposed of Shannon town 5 nil in the previous round a much stiffer test awaits them.
WEEKLY LOTTO
Our weekly lotto draw took place in J’s bar on Monday night last. The no’s drawn were 1, 12, 13 and 19 which yielded no winner. We thank you for your continued support. See lotto results elsewhere in this paper.

PITCH DEVELOPMENT
It is anticipated that contracts for our new all-weather fully floodlit pitch will be signed early next week. We are confident that the project will start in May and be finished by August which will mean little disruption to fixtures. This project comes in at huge cost and even though we are grateful of sports capital funding, major borrowing is going to put a strain on club finances. With that in mind we will be launching a few fund raising initiatives in the coming weeks and will be grateful for any support we receive.

Our official Errea club gear is on sale at the print house Upper Cork St Shorts and socks, tracksuits, hats, gear bags etc are all available.
SYMPATHIES
Numbness and shock was the feeling on Saturday last when we heard of the untimely death of the late Cora O’Grady.
Her son Luke is a member of our U11 team and Cora’s smile and humour was always visible at Brigown Pk on match days. To her children, Luke and Lily her sisters Geraldine and Edel and extended family, we at Park Utd AFC offer our sincere sympathies to you all at this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
