Last week I named all our ladies representi­ng Waterford this week it’s the turn of boys/men. Ben Sheehan U14 hurling and football. Aidan Murphy, Jack Henley, Paul Henley, Joseph McDonnell and Billy Murphy all U15 hurling. Jake Henley minor hurling. Ian Beecher Senior hurling. Best of luck to you all in the season ahead.

MEMBERSHIP/DEISE DRAW

If interested please contact David. This is a great money spinner for the club to help us put it back into our playing facilities.

OFF THE FIELD

Well done to our treasurer Kieran Geary who completed Manchester Marathon last Sunday morning in a time of 3 hours 20 minutes. Fantastic running Kieran. A big thank you to Milo and Abbie Aherne for delivering out our new supporter’s package to all households in Tallow last week. A big thank you Econ lighting for presenting a set of Bibs to our senior hurling training panel for the year ahead.

NED POWER TOURNAMENT

The final night of the Ned Power tournament is Thursday the 7th of April with a 5.45 start.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Well done Waterford on a fantastic victory over Cork last Saturday night. Great to see so many from Tallow make the journey up to support. Next up is Tipperary on easter Sunday in the first round of the Munster championsh­ip. Ticket details to follow on this. The quote Dick O’Mahoney on Sunday morning after Mass. We have the club all Ireland, the national league, the Cheltenham champion hurdle and gold cups all now in Waterford. Surely next is the Liam McCarthy as the Toyota Yaris took off down Convent Street.
