New mobile defibrillators for local walking group

- MARIAN ROCHE

The Rhododendron Walking Festival committee this week expressed their thanks to Cllr Marie Murphy, Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council, who presented them with two mobile defibrillators. The committee said the medical devices would be ‘a huge asset’ to the group, and they will be able to take them with them while out walking.

The group held two walks in aid of Climb With Charlie at the beginning of April; the first was a walk in Glengarra Woods, with another group undertaking a mountain walk to Crohan West in the Knockmealdowns.
