-

It is with profound sorrow and deep regret that we record the passing of agriculture contractor George Bryan, Kilclare, Conna, Co. Cork, loving father of the late Jane, brother of the late Tom, Frances, Millie and Lizzie.

George passed peacefully, in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff at Fermoy Community Hospital, on Saturday 2nd April.

People came from near and far to pay their respects on Tuesday evening 5th, as George lay in repose at Aidan Walsh and Sons Funeral Home, Tallow. Then, on Wednesday afternoon, a private funeral service took place at his home in the presence of his loving family, neighbours and friends.

This was followed by removal to St. Luke’s Church Yard Cemetery in Douglas, Cork where committal service took place in the presence of a large cortege of mourners. George is now safe in the arms of Jesus.

We extend our deepest sympathy to his loving wife Lily, sons Frederick, Alan, Stuart and Gordon, daughters Irene and Georgina, sister Kathleen Hughes, sons- in- law Seamus Rohan and James Manley, daughters-in-law Nikki (Hurley), Nuala (Tobin) and Louise (Donaghy), grandchildren Kate, Ethan, Sonja, Padraig, Jennifer, Cathal, Andrew, Cameron, Darragh, Tom, Millie, Philip, Eliza, Jude and Hugo, brother-in-law, sisterin-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Funeral arrangements were by Aidan Walsh and Sons Funeral Directors, Cappoquin and Tallow.
