MITCHELSTOWN GETTING SET FOR DARKNESS INTO LIGHT 2022
It is with great delight that the Mitchelstown Darkness into Light (DIL) committee would like to announce that their Darkness into Light walk for Pieta House will take place on 7th May at 4.15am, assembling at the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre.
People can register now on darknessintolight.ie. All funds go directly to Pieta House to provide funding for people who are suicidal or experiencing suicidal ideation.
This is Mitchelstown’s 5th time participating in the DIL walk for Pieta House. Each event was supported by the various clubs, committees and individuals and the positivity and solidarity generated by the wider community lifted all our spirits. Now, after a two year sabbatical due to Covid, we hope to once again walk shoulder to shoulder from Darkness into Light.

There will be a registration event in Tesco in Mitchelstown on this Saturday (16th) between 9am and 3pm. There are other registration events at the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre on Friday 22nd 5.30pm - 8.30pm and in Farrel’l’s SuperValu on Saturday, 30th April, from 9am-3pm in order to to support people with registering online.
