Obituary - Mary (Mon) O’Callaghan
It is with great sadness and deep regret that we record the passing of Mary (Mon) O’Callaghan (nee Leahy), Newtown, Ballynoe, Mallow - loving wife of the late Michael which occurred peacefully on Tuesday, 12th April.
Lying in repose at Aidan Walsh and Sons Funeral Home, Tallow, on Saturday evening funeral prayers were recited in the presence of her loving family. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Sunday morning in St. Catherine’s Church, Ballynoe, followed by burial in the local cemetery. May she rest in peace. We extend our deepest sympathy to her loving daughter Betty Murphy, son James, brothers Eddie, Billy and Jimmy Leahy, son-in-law Pat Murphy, daughter-in-law Eleanor, grandchildren Diarmuid, Edel, Rachel and her partner Michael, Niall, Sinead and James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
