Eager readers at the library

- MARIAN ROCHE

The library in Mitchelstown has been welcoming classes from Bunscoil na Toirbhirte throughout March, and now have in place monthly visits from the eager readers from 1st through to 6th class.

Each pupil is issued with a library card after their initial visit, which means they can borrow two items each, as well as being furnished with a familiarity with the library and all that it offers.

Any schools that are interested in taking their class for a visit, and giving their pupils the gift of a lifetime with a love for reading, is asked to contact Eileen at the library to arrange a trip.
