RAISE THE ROOF!
By now you will have heard of the raffle to raise funds towards the development of the Storehouse in the village with the first prize being a trip to Disneyland Florida for a family of 4. You can purchase tickets from Agnes in St Michael’s Hall 058-60390, by scanning the QR code on the posters that are up in the surrounding areas or through on our social media pages. The draw will take place on Sunday, 29th June during the Gala Festival!
SCRAP METAL COLLECTION
A new collection for the month of April is underway. All metal and car batteries appreciated. For more details to drop your scrap metal or if you need to arrange pick up, please contact Agnes in St Michael’s Hall on 058-60390.
BIG BREAKFAST
The Big Breakfast takes place on Sunday next in St Michael’s Hall from 9am. Breakfast is charged at €10 per adult and €5 per child. A raffle will take place in aid of Ukrainian refugees. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
OFFICE HUB
Office spaces to rent in the Carnegie Centre with high speed broadband, own desk and locker, key fob access, meeting room and canteen space all in a secure building with free on street parking. Please contact Agnes on 058 60390 or email stmichaelshall@hotmail.com.
WALKING CLUB
Next walk is scheduled for Sunday, 1st May taking in the Canon Sheehan Loop at 1pm and will be led by Dick Wade. New members are always welcome.
BUS SERVICE
The bus service is still available in the village. Please call Austin O’Brien on 087-2256666 to book your space. On Friday, it goes to Dungarvan, departs River Action at 9.30am and leaves Dungarvan circa 2pm.
Every second Tuesday alternates to Youghal or Midleton departing River Action at 9.30am and leaves the destination at 1pm. This service is run by Local Link, free for those with a travel pass and €5 for anyone else.
LOTTO
The numbers drawn on 12th April were 4, 5, 30 and 32. There was no winner. The lucky €30 draw winners were Kieran Bolger, Kieran Keane, Mary Kenneally (Cooladoody) and Shane Fenton. The results from the draw on 19th April with a jackpot of €2,700 next week.
