BRIAN BORUS CAMOGIE CLUB
Brian Borus Camogie Club in conjunction with Skeheenarinky Vintage Club will hold a Car and Tractor Run on Sunday, 1st May. Refreshments will be served on the day and vehicles will leave from Ballylooby/Castlegrace GAA grounds at 12pm. Music will follow that night in Ryan’s Bar, Burncourt. So dust off your cars, tractors and motorbikes and come along for what is sure to be a fun day for all. Your support as always is appreciated.

BCB HERITAGE GROUP PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
On Saturday, April 30th 8.15pm and Sunday, May 1st at 11.30am we are holding a photographic exhibition reflecting the history of Ballyporeen over the past 100 years. We would appreciate if people could bring along photos on the day. We will copy them and return them immediately to the owner.
BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY
Congratulations to Gretta Lonergan, Scart, Tubrid who celebrated her 90th birthday on Sunday last (Easter Sunday) amongst family, grandchildren, greatgrand-children friends and neighbours. On Sunday morning Gretta, with members of her family attended the 51st anniversary of the passing of her late husband Johnny, as a result of an accident, who died all those years ago, leaving Gretta, a young widow and mother of seventeen children, youngest four months.
Gretta has been through the “University of life” having lost her husband at a young age and tragedy visited Gretta when she lost two sons through tragic accidents on different occasions. We wish her continued good health to enjoy her family and to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and prosper.
