GLENROE U15 HURLERS

Big congratulations to the Glenroe U15 hurlers and all their management and coaches. The team played an outstanding series of games over the Easter weekend making it to the final where they beat Murroe-Boher to become the Limerick Division 2 Féile Champions. Well done to everyone involved.

GLENROE BALLYORGAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Glenroe clean up on Good Friday, in conjunction with TLC7, saw 35 volunteers in 14 teams pick litter along all the roads in the community. While most participated on the day and returned to the hall for welcome refreshments, others worked on their road earlier in the week. A huge thank you to all.

Glenroe Ballyorgan Community Council AGM will be held in Glenroe Hall on Tuesday, 3rd May at 8pm. All living or working in our community are very welcome.

DIVINE MERCY TRIDIUM

Divine Mercy Tridium in St Andrew’s Church, Kilfinane on Friday, April 22nd at 7pm; Saturday April 23rd at 6.30; Sunday, April 24th at 2.30pm.

GLENROE GAA

On Saturday, April 30th at 8.30pm Glenroe GAA club will launch their astro turf development project at The Firgrove Hotel in Mitchelstown. Matt O’Callaghan will be master of ceremonies on the evening with entertainment provided by ‘Nightfall’. The astroturf development will be a fantastic facility for the club and community. The team working on the development are hoping for a strong show of support from the community on the night.

GLENROE GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the club lotto jackpot draw for €4,600 on April 7th. The numbers drawn were 5, 12, 15, 27. Congratulations to lucky dip winners Tanya Carroll, Glenroe; Paul O’Regan, Kilgarriff; Ned Sheehy, Glenroe; DJ & Billy Sheehy, Ruppulagh; Oscar & Carter Ryan, Knockadea; Nora & Billy Sheehy Ruppulagh.
