Our new “Mothers and Others” squad held their first session last Friday in O’Connell Park. 21 trained under the expert guidance of Stan O’Grady. Great craic and some great football played (honestly).

MITCHELSTOWN U14 LADIES FOOTBALL
Thanks to Fermoy Ladies Football for hosting the U14 challenge match on Good Friday. The Mitchelstown girls made a good start to the match, scoring a number of well worked points. A strong Fermoy side took control in the second half, however our girl’s efforts were rewarded with the final score of the game, goaled by Brid O’G.
MITCHELSTOWN U12 LADIES FOOTBALL
The U12s travelled to Dromtarriffe on Easter Monday for their opening North Cork League match of the season. Well done to the girls who put in a great performance.
FUNCHEON GAELS
JUNIOR FOOTBALL
The Funcheon Gaels Juniors kicked off their 2022 League season with a Good Friday trip to Ballinspittle, to take on Courcey Rovers. The girls started well, and held a narrow lead at half time.
