Knock for T.O. Park

-

Yes folks, this popular trip is back again this year. It will take place on Saturday, May 28th.

This is the special SMA pilgrimage day that in recent times we have been enjoying and just can’t miss no matter what. As always, our trip that day is first of all a spiritual day out but we do include the social side too.

There will be full Irish breakfast on the way up and a four course dinner on the way down. There will be plenty of time for Mass, prayer and spiritual reflection. As always it just will be a lovely happy, holy day away.

You would need to book your place very soon. Call or text Deci on 086-4005727, Brigid on 086-3594571 or T.O. on 086-8272761. Text only to T.O. as he will be away for some time. You can also call Stella on 025-24009. Times and price to follow later when final arrangements are made and we know how many will travel, so don’t wait, book ASAP.

MICHAEL COLLINS FOR THE PARK

This great bandsman will play at the Park this Friday, April 29th. A big crowd is expected for this hugely popular entertainer. Be one of them.

IRISH MUSIC AND SONG NIGHT

This popular evening, a follow up to a month ago, takes place this Saturday, April 30th in the new arena at the Park. It begins at 8pm and all are very welcome. You do not have to perform if you don’t wish to, no pressure,

come as part of the listening audience.

You will love this evening, highly entertaining and relaxing. A raffle will be held with tea and refreshments. Entry is free of charge. A big thank you to the one and only Mary O’Neill who on her own has put the entire evening together. Thanks Mary.

GIZZY GETS A LITTLE OLDER

This weekend an old friend, a great guy, a country bumpkin, celebrates a special birthday – he is of course a legend of Burncourt, Paul Mulcahy. We will be there to help you along! Oh, but you better keep it country and you know Paul, if it ain’t country it ain’t music. We all salute you man and wish you well for now and always. Happy birthday.
