By now you will have heard of the raffle to raise funds towards the developmen­t of the Storehouse in the village with the first prize being a trip to Disneyland Florida for a family of 4. You can purchase tickets from Agnes in St Michael’s Hall 058-60390, by scanning the QR code on the posters that are up in the surroundin­g areas or through the following link on our the Ballyduff Upper What’s On social media pages. The draw will take place on Sunday 29th June during the Gala Festival!

SCRAP METAL COLLECTION

The collection continues for the month of April and is going well. Thank you to all who have contribute­d so far. All metal and car batteries appreciate­d. For more details to drop your scrap metal or if you need to arrange pick up, please contact Agnes in St Michael’s Hall on 058-60390.

BIG BREAKFAST

The Big Breakfast took place on Sunday last in St Michael’s Hall from 9 am. A massive thank you to all who attended and supported in anyway. Thank you to our sponsors, without your generosity, our fundraiser would not have been possible. Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets, the proceeds of which will help the Ukrainian refugee response. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who gave up their Sunday morning to cook, serve, wash up and all else not to mention setting up the hall, sourcing food and ensuring dietary needs were catered for. We are so lucky to have such willingnes­s in our community and certainly it’s a case of many hands make light work. BUS SERVICE

The bus service is still available in the village. Please call Austin O’Brien on 0872256666 to book your space. On Friday, it goes to Dungarvan, departs River Action at 9.30am and leaves Dungarvan circa 2pm. Every second Tuesday alternates to Youghal or Midleton departing River Action at 9.30am and leaves the destinatio­n at 1pm. This service is run by Local Link, free for those with a travel pass and €5 for anyone else.

LOTTO

The numbers drawn on 19th April were 15, 16, 22 and 28. There was no winner. The lucky €30 draw winners were

David and Eilish Flynn, Ann M. Bennett, Aoife Geary and Mary Fennessy. The results from the draw on 26th April with a jackpot of €2,850 next week.
