U7/8 CAMOGIE

Well done to our U7/8 girls who played their first game of the season on Saturday in a camogie blitz against St Catherines. They were superb, well done all.

JUNIOR CAMOGIE

Our junior camogie team had a good win away to Kilworth on Tuesday last. There was only two points between the teams at halftime but Rovers pulled away in the second half to secure a six point win on a scoreline of 0-11 to 1-02.

Scorers: Chloe O’Flynn (0-5), Abbie Hoare (0-4) Lily Murray and Arianne O’Flynn (0-1 each).

U18 CAMOGIE

Our U18s secured a win in their first league match against Dungourney on Friday, winning 2-19 to 3-03. Best wishes to Mollie on a speedy and full recovery from her shoulder injury.

U16 FOOTBALL

Bride Rovers U16s lost their first league game away to Cobh by one goal, final score 5-07 to 6-07 but they won their second match against St. Nicks pretty comprehens­ively. An early goal within seconds of the throw-in from Nikki followed by a point from Clodagh and a goal and a point from Ellie, while St Nicks hit back with a goal and five points, leaving the teams level at the half-time whistle.

Rovers upped a gear in the second half with goals from Clodagh and Nikki and points from Clara, Saoirse, Ruby, Ellie and Nikki saw them come out on top 5-09 to 1-07.
