Tallow bridge damaged following collision

Investigations are ongoing into a road traffic collision at Tallow bridge on Saturday.

A car collided with the bridge on the Tallow side at approximately 4pm on April 30 and as a result, caused damage to the bridge. No injuries were reported.

According to a Garda spokesperson, they are investigating the matter.

“Gardaí are investigating an RTC that occurred at Tallowbridge (sic), Tallow, Waterford on Saturday 30th April, 2022 at approximately 4pm.

A car collided with the bridge and caused damage to same. Investigations are ongoing. No persons were injured,” the spokesperson confirmed.
