41 houses proposed for Pike Road
A planning application seeking the development of 41 new houses in Fermoy has gone before Cork County Council.
Permission for the residential development sought for Pike Road, Rathealy, also includes permission for all ancillary site development works including the diversion and undergrounding of existing overhead lines.
Proposed works consist of the construction of 7 four-bedroom detached dwellings, 16 four-bedroom semi- detached dwellings, 14 three-bedroom semi-detached and townhouse dwellings, and 4 two-bedroom dwellings. Access to the proposed development will be via two vehicular entrances from Pike Road.
Currently, the planning application with Cork County Council is at the pre-validation stage and a decision on the proposed application is due by June 13.
