Congratulations to the 3 local school girls who were on the Limerick Football Primary School Games team in Ennis on
Saturday evening last April 30th. Muirne Ryan Anglesboro National School, Ellen Moriarty Galbally National School and Leanne Stritch, Knockanainey National School.
It was a historical night for the Limerick senior footballers as they won their match on penalties with Mike Donovan, Galbally and Brian Donovan, Monaleen playing a big part in the victory well done boys and girls. Limerick abu.

CHURCH NOTICES - MASS CELEBRATED ON GALTEE MOR
On Saturday, April 30th a group of 35 gathered on at the summit of Galtee Mor to celebrate Mass. It was a special Mass of the Golden Jubilee. Father Tom Breen PP Ballylanders. Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly con-celebrated the Mass. The weather with its foggy presence added to the rarefied atmosphere. All present commented on the special atmosphere of the entire occasion. The wind was from the south so we sheltered among the rocks for the Mass. Thankfully it remained fine. All were treated to a very welcome cup of tea / coffee after the climb with a piece of Jubilee cake to round it all off. All will cherish the memory of the experience for a long time.
