There was no winner of the club lotto jackpot draw for €4,800 on April 21st. The numbers drawn were 6, 10, 22, 24. A public meeting will take place on Wednesday, 11th May 8pm to consider what works should be undertaken to refurbish the hall. All are welcome to contribute your views.

GLENROE-BALLYORGAN PARISH FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATI­ON

Glenroe First Holy Communion and Confirmati­on will be celebrated in Our Lady of Ransome Church on Saturday, 7th May at noon.

Glenroe Church. Mass Thursday, 5th May at 10am (Note change of time). First Friday Mass on 6th May at 9.30am.

CLOTHES BANK

The lovely pink Clothes Bank is located in Glenroe Church Car Park which can be used by people near and far to recycle their household clothing. Spring is here and now is the time to give that wardrobe a clean out. Profits from the bin will be given to Glenroe-Ballyorgan Community Council so that they can continue to run events and invest in the local area. It is important to note all clothes, shoes and household clothing will be accepted except duvets and pillows.
