LITTER PICK AND SPRING CLEAN IN KILDORRERY – THANK YOU

Thank you so much to everyone for their great work in the clean-up and litter pick around the village and approach roads last Thursday 28th as part of the National Spring Clean for April.

Thanks to the all the cubs and their leaders Keith Allen, Ger Dooley, Joy O’Donoghue, Alistair Vickers and Joanne Shinnick for their great work in picking litter around the village, GAA grounds, cemetery, creamery yard and the Church grounds, while members of the Tidy Towns group and members of the community went out further on the approach roads. Thank you all!

Huge thanks to GAA members, William Fouhy, Loughlin McGovern, Eamonn McCarthy, Peter O’Brien and Cormac O’Baoill for tackling and doing great work clearing the footpath on the Limerick approach road, making it safe for pedestrian­s. Great work lads - Many thanks!

Once again thank you to Cork County Council for collecting the bags of litter. It is very much appreciate­d by all.

Home Bingo books are now on sale in Kildorrery in the Community Office, Post Office, Centra and in Myers Maxol in Mitchelsto­wn. This week’s snowball prize is €200.

Our weekly bingo will be held in the newly renovated Old Store in the creamery yard this Friday, 6th May at 8pm. The option to play outside in your car is still available - tune to 88.0FM. This week’s jackpot is €2,000. Thank you for your continuing support.
