Great wins last weekend

-

We hosted an U7 football blitz on Saturday morning and played Newcastle, Ballyporeen and Ballylooby Castlegrace.

Our U11s played 2 good games of football v Clonmel Óg in Clogheen last Sunday morning. This continues the weekly U11 fixtures as part of the excellent Go Games program.

Our U13s won the South C semi-final against Cahir and play Grangemockler in the final in Kilsheelan on Sunday at 11.15am. The final of all 4 grades will be played starting at 10am. We encourage everybody to come and support the team. Best of luck boys.

Harry Byrne played in goals for the Tipperary Primary schools team against Waterford on Saturday evening. It was a great experience for Harry and his family.

The U15s played in Peil na nÓg last weekend. After beating Aherlow/Lattin and losing to Clonmel Óg in Lisvernane we made the long journey to Gortnahoe to play our neighbours Ballyporeen in the semi-final. This was a great battle and went to extra time where we lost out in the final moments.

It was a long day for the boys at the end of a busy week and we play Ballyporeen again on Thursday night in the South championship. Throw in is 6pm in Clogheen.

The Minor A hurling league starts on Friday evening with a fixture away to Kilsheelan at 7.30pm.

COUNTY HURLING LEAGUE Fr Sheehys 0-14 Boherlahan Dualla 2-13

We competed well with Boherlahan but couldn’t close the gap after conceding a goal near the end. The next league fixture is against Carrick Swans next weekend. There may be a South football game before then, yet to be confirmed.
