The Avondhu

Busy schedule of games ahead

-

THE PLAYING FRONT

We did not have a very successful week on the playing fields losing all our games. I believe we were very unfortunate to lose to Newcestown in the Senior A Football League but it was a great effort from the lads. I was unable to attend this match so I am unable to report on it.

The leagues continue on this week with hurling and hopefully it will be better news on the results front. We wish all the teams who are playing the very best of luck this week. Fermoy Abu!

GOLF CLASSIC FRIDAY

The highly anticipated Fermoy Golf Classic will take place this Friday. It will take place in Fermoy Golf Club and it is a 3 ball scramble.

The entrance fee is €180 per team and this will include a full meal. It is not too late to enter a team and all support would be greatly appreciated. Bookings can be made through Tom O’Brien (086-2155918) or Kieran Morrisson (086-0763050).

Many thanks in advance to everyone who sponsored this event and let’s hope the weather doesn’t let us down. Best of luck to everyone and may the best team win.
