The matches are coming thick and fast across all of the age groups in both codes. Some highlights of the past week include: Mitchelstown U16 Ladies Football.

The U16s kicked off their North Cork League campaign with an away fixture against Ballycastle in Castletownroche. The match was well contested, with Mitchelstown winning out in the end 5-12 to 4-6.

FUNCHEON GAELS JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Funcheon Gaels secured a fine win in the County League away to Erins Own.

MUNSTER CAMOGIE FINAL FOR CORK

Well done to the Cork Minors and especially our own Thea Coleman, on reaching this year’s Munster final. Thea started in the number 6 jersey for the semi-final with Limerick.

Congratulations also to Eimear and Shauna who recently lined out for the Cork Camogie U14s. It’s great to see so many of our members gaining experience with the county and divisional teams.
