Information talk enjoyed by all

Our last social was a great success, and very well attended our guest speaker Denis Motherway gave a very informative talk on home security, internet and phone scams.

We had a lot of entries for our competition and the winners were as follows: Minature Garden: 1st Peg Doran, 2nd Bridgett O’Sullivan, 3rd Mary Thorp. Easter basket: Ella Lovett, Kay O’Driscoll, Theresa Roche. Easter card: Bridie O’Riordan, Nonie Hogan, Bernie Lomasney.

Members enjoyed our outing to Conna on Monday, 25th April a lovely 3 course lunch, followed by bingo and afternoon tea thanks to Mary O’Mahony and her team.

Bingo every Monday night 8pm Heaphy Grove Hall.

Kurling on Tuesday, 11th May at 10.30 and every second Tuesday after that.

Our next social will be on Wednesday, 11th May at 2.30 this will be our annual fundraiser all proceeds will go to Breakthrough Cancer this is a very worthy cause so please give generously.

Our summer outing will be on Tuesday, 21st June to Clonakilty with evening meal in Fern Hill House Hotel. Full details later but please make sure your name is down in good time.
